Built by riders for riders
Doubledeck was founded on a single conviction: snowboard design had stopped evolving. For two decades, the industry iterated on materials and graphics while the fundamental construction of the board stayed unchanged. We believed that was wrong.
Our mission is to make snowboarding better, not just for elite riders but for everyone on the mountain. Better edge control that forgives beginners. Better response that rewards the experienced.
A board that works with the rider, not against them. Every decision we make, from the patent office to the production line, comes back to that mission: a more accessible mountain and more alive runs.

How it started
"Doubledeck started on the Hintertux glacier in 2016. Andreas Kramer, watched a snowboarder catch an edge, the most common reason people fall and something everyone had accepted as part of snowboarding. He didn’t think it had to be. So he challenged its most fundamental concept: Why should a snowboard have only one deck? Simply because it always has?
Three years and seventeen prototypes later, the construction was patented in Europe. The first production boards left our Innsbruck workshop in 2021. Today they’re enjoyed by snowboarders across the globe."
What we stand for
Rider First
Every design decision starts with the rider. Not the retailer, not the competition, not the trend cycle. If it does not make the riding better, it does not ship.
Honest Innovation
We patent what works and we discard what does not. We do not add features for marketing. If we claim a board performs differently, it is because we can prove it on the mountain.
Built to last
We build boards for years, not seasons. Our construction is designed for longevity, and every Doubledeck comes with a five-year structural warranty. Sustainability begins with durability.
Try it and you will understand
Every rider who spends a day on a Doubledeck describes the same thing: the board seems to read the snow ahead of them. Rent one and find out for yourself. Every Doubledeck is built to last and backed by a five-year structural warranty. If something fails, we fix it.
